We are David Simmonds and Józefa Fawcett and between us
have over 70 years of experience in the training and learning field.
We began this research unit back in 2004 and since then
have been publishing books and articles and speaking at international conferences
We have now established a trading company called Organisation for Quality in Training (OFQT) Ltd through which we sell a range of learning tools, audio books and masterclasses to support quality management and sustainable excellence in training.

David Simmonds
MSc (HRD), Chartered FCIPD, FITOL, Companion ISMM, ACQI, B.Ed (Hons),
PG Cert. Applied Research, Cert. in Counselling
David is a Principle Lecturer at a London University
and an accomplished author, with four books,
currently in print in UK and Romania, which are
widely used in both business and academia.
He is the winner of the 2009 Emerald Literati

Józefa Fawcett
MA (HRM), Chartered FCIPD, FITOL, MIHM, MInstLM, ACQI, PG Dip. Training Management, Cert in Health Services Management, EFQM Assessor
Józefa is an independent learning specialist and
voice over talent and Senior Lecturer at a London University. She works with clients in the UK and
on European Commission-funded learning projects across Europe.
She is the UK 2009 winner of the Global HR
Excellence Award for HR Leadership
